Itineraries

Lori church

We will start with welcome and morning prayer in comfortable transportation means. On the way (total 2.5 hours’ drive) we will stop to see some wonders, the newly built St. Harutiun Church of Spitak among them. After the blessing we will visit the Lori Berd Fortress (X-XI cc.) with its old church. If the weather permits we will have our packed lunch by the breathtaking gorge of the site. The community church St. Sarkis of Stepanavan will embrace us next. We will organize also a retreat in Tormak Church and Dendropark (an arboretum, which has more than 500 species of trees) with a discussion on nature – the creation of God and spirituality.

We will finish our day pilgrimage with an evening prayer in the ruins of a church in a very nice green valley.
