Documenting Success: “From Ararat to Zion” Wins Top Award in Wales

The documentary "From Ararat to Zion" – which made its Yerevan debut May 9 – has been awarded “Best European Documentary” at the Swansea Bay Film Festival in Wales, UK.

The film was nominated among other documentaries produced by filmmakers from France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, UK, Denmark, Norway, Poland, Israel and others. The film (www.fromararattozion.com) which documents the Christian pilgrimage from Mt. Ararat to Zion (A to Z) will open in London on May 19.

The Swansea Bay Film Festival took place from May 7-16 and aims at providing a worldwide public forum for independent and experimental filmmakers.
