Terms & Policies
The booking processCurrently only group bookings are accepted (which means that individuals are also treated as groups). All bookings are with Psalm Tours LLC only and are done as follows.
1. You submit an application using facilities of this web site or write us an email with a description of tour you would like to have*.
| | 2. We review your application or email, clarify all issues concerning it (via email or telephone) and send you the final version of tour package (customized to all your needs and requirements) which includes all important details regarding the tour, its price and payment methods.
3. As soon as we get a deposit from you, we assume that you agree to all details mentioned in the tour package (including dates, lodging, transportation, meals, pilgrimage destinations, and the price) and terms herein.
4. We then send a receipt of the deposit to you.
* We however strongly recommend that you use Tour Designer. Payment A deposit of 50% of the package price should be sent at the time of booking as mentioned above. The rest 50% should be paid by the 15th day prior to arrival. Payment methods The following payment methods are accepted
- Bank transfer,
- Traveller check.
Details regarding each payment method are provided in the tour package we send for final approval.
Last day booking (within 15 days prior to arrival) In case of last day booking, full payment should be done in 3 business days after final approval.
Lodging, meals, and transportation
All lodging costs are included in the tour package. Lodging reservations are done based on the information provided by you. The basic room type is double/twin. However single supplements and triple reductions are possible. You will get all this information as soon as you submit an application.
Tour package provides detailed info regarding meals included. Generally, almost all meals (daily breakfast, lunch and dinner) are included in the package. You will be requested for details concerning pilgrims' diet/fasting requirements.
All transportation costs related to the itineraries and the general description of vehicles are included in the tour package. Cancellation In case you wish to cancel your booking, the following cancellation charges will be imposed. They are calculated from the day your cancellation is received in writing:
- More than 60 days prior to arrival – we return 70% of the deposit amount;
- 60-30 days prior to arrival - we return 50% of deposit
- 29-15 days prior to arrival - no refund for the deposit amount
- Less than 15 days - no refund for the complete tour price.
Force majeure Psalm Tours does not cancel any tour unless forced to do so by circumstances beyond its control ("force majeure" situations). If the tour is cancelled all payments in respect of the tour cost will be refunded, but Psalm Tours will not be liable for any incidental expenses you may have incurred.
Complaints Psalm Tours does its best to provide you with competent service and meet your requirements. However, if a group member has a complaint or suggestions about the tour process he/she can make it known to the assigned guide so that appropriate action is undertaken. Liabilities Psalm Tours accepts all the liabilities mentioned in the mutually agreed tour package. However Psalm Tours will not accept liability for damages caused by the total or partial failure to carry out the contract if the failure is attributable to the passenger; or unforeseeable or unavoidable and attributable to a third party; or the result of circumstances beyond our control; or the result of an event that even with all due care and attention could not be foreseen or forestalled. Psalm Tours does not accept any liabilities caused by negligence of the duties mentioned in the tour package by the group members. Psalm Tours reserves the right to make minor changes to the tour program which do not affect overall tour experience.
